Taking into account the negative impact that economic, industrial and commercial development has had on the environment over the years, today the sustainability and reduction of the environmental impact of the industry is a fundamental aspect.
Thus, in the company, social and ecological responsibility has also become a front to work on. The concern with consumption, care in separating and reducing waste and constant attention to the impact of industrial activity on the environment are part of the company's policy.
To face this reality, the Costa Guerreiro Group has implemented, over these 50 years, important environmentally sustainable and socially responsible policies with regard to waste recycling, consumption of raw materials, energy production, among others.
Some examples of these actions are: the installation of solar panels to produce clean and continuous electricity, reducing carbon emissions; the adoption of waste reuse and the use of FSC and GRS certified materials in their production. The zeal for social sustainability, through concern for human well-being, more specifically for its employees, has also been a constant in the day-to-day of the Costa Guerreiro Group, since its foundation.
The commitment to these actions is reflected in a greater integration between the economic, social and environmental dimensions. Ethical and practical attitudes that are consistent with the creation of a more sustainable, more cared for and healthier community, which are already part of the group's DNA.
