Foundation
Guerreiro & Cª was born from a family project, in 1972, by Emídio and Maria da Conceição Guerreiro and aimed to fill an existing gap in the manufacture of labels in the textile market.
Later, in the 80s, with the arrival of the youngest son, Pedro Guerreiro, to the company, the process of technological evolution and innovation began.
Already with great experience in woven labels and trimmings, Guerreiro & Cª Lda. invested in a large and modern machine park, allowing itself to grow in terms of sales volume and quality.
This investment in the technological field did not only translate into the development of new products, but also into the promotion of new business models and the improvement of processes that would make life easier for employees.
The parent company thus became the first electronic jacquard woven label factory in Vale do Ave and gave new impulse to what would be a successful path.
